    Fast Facts

    1. New Category Entry: Marshall is boldly launching its first soundbar, the Heston 120, priced at $1,000, designed to offer high-quality Dolby Atmos and DTS-X audio.

    2. Robust Sound Engineering: The soundbar features 11 drivers, including two subwoofers and five full-range drivers, powered by 11 Class D amplifiers for a total output of 150 watts.

    3. Distinctive Design: Echoing Marshall’s iconic guitar amplifier look, the Heston 120 incorporates leather and metal finishes with tactile controls reminiscent of traditional amplifiers.

    4. Future Expansion: While the Heston 120 lacks a bundled subwoofer, Marshall plans to release a standalone sub, the Heston Sub 200, along with a smaller model later on.

Marshall has made a bold move in audio innovation with its first soundbar, the Heston 120. Priced at $1,000, this device features advanced Dolby Atmos and DTS-X technologies, bringing spatial audio to life.

Equipped with 11 drivers, the Heston 120 promises rich, immersive sound. Inside, two subwoofers, two mid-range units, two tweeters, and five full-range drivers work together to deliver a power output of 150 watts. Additionally, 11 Class D amplifiers — including two powerful 50W amplifiers — enhance audio quality.

Connectivity options abound. With Bluetooth 5.3 and Wi-Fi capabilities, users can easily access AirPlay 2, Google Cast, Spotify Connect, and Tidal Connect. For wired connections, the soundbar boasts two HDMI 2.1 ports, plus an RCA input for turntables and other devices.

Marshall’s signature design shines through in the Heston 120. It features a leather and metal aesthetic, echoing the iconic look of the company’s guitar amplifiers. Tactile controls, such as gold knobs and preset buttons, provide a unique user experience.

While the Heston 120 lacks a bundled subwoofer, Marshall plans to release the Heston Sub 200 and Heston 60 in the future. This decision may disappoint audio enthusiasts who expect a comprehensive package in high-end soundbars.

Overall, the Heston 120 combines style and cutting-edge technology. It launches on June 3 from Marshall’s website, setting the stage for an exciting evolution in home audio.
