It will initially run for five years, starting no earlier than December 1, with options for extension until 2034. ASCEND will collaborate with Aerodyne Company and Jacobs Technology Company, both based in Florida and Tennessee, respectively.

    This partnership supports various NASA initiatives, including the Orion and Space Launch System programs. Additionally, it plays a crucial role in the International Space Station, Commercial Crew Program, and the Artemis campaign, which aims to return humans to the Moon.

These services include managing the Mission Control Center systems, creating training environments, and providing essential training for astronauts, instructors, and flight controllers.
