    Later-stage startups dominated the market, securing 56% of the capital. Conversely, early-stage ventures claimed the remaining 44%. Eleven major deals exceeded $100 million each, totaling about $7.3 billion. Among these, Revolut led with a staggering $3 billion. Other significant raises included Touareg Group at $1 billion and Kraken at $800 million.

    The Trading/Exchange/Investing/Lending sector remained the primary beneficiary, drawing over $5 billion. Companies like Revolut and Kraken continue to thrive, showcasing the sector’s resilience. Meanwhile, innovation in stablecoins, AI, and blockchain infrastructure also attracted attention.

    Geographically, US-based companies captured 55% of the total investment. The UK followed at 33%, with Singapore and Hong Kong accounting for 2% and 1.7%, respectively. This trend suggests a robust entrepreneurial ecosystem, especially in the United States.

    Fundraising for crypto-focused venture funds reached $1.98 billion. This figure contributed to the largest annual fundraising total since 2022, amounting to $8.75 billion. Average fund sizes increased to $167 million, with medians at $46 million.

    Overall, this surge in venture capital highlights a renewed confidence in the crypto sector. It also reflects ongoing innovation and a commitment to advancing technology. The landscape continues to evolve, positioning cryptocurrency as a vital player in the modern economy.
