    Fast Facts

    1. Starting this April, T-Mobile offers a new DoorDash delivery service for its 5G internet equipment, enabling rapid delivery within hours.
    2. Customers can select from plans starting at $35/month, with free shipping of the 5G Gateway, but must set up the device themselves.
    3. Self-installation is required, with no professional assistance included, making it ideal for confident DIY users.
    4. Performance varies by location, with tested speeds ranging from 87-318 Mbps download and 14-56 Mbps upload, and a 15-day return window available.

Same-Day Internet Delivery Gets a Boost

Starting this April, T-Mobile now offers a faster way to get home internet equipment. Customers in eligible areas can have their 5G internet gear delivered the same day through DoorDash. This service is a step up from previous phone deliveries, making it easier for people who need internet quickly. If both 5G service and DoorDash are available near you, you can choose a plan that starts at $35 per month. T-Mobile then ships the equipment for free. This new option helps people start using their internet right away, saving time and frustration.

Easy Setup, with a Few Challenges

Once the equipment arrives, you will need to set up your 5G Gateway yourself. All you have to do is plug it in and link your T-Mobile account. If everything goes smoothly, you can connect your home devices like a regular Wi-Fi router. However, if you run into problems, you might need to book a technician visit later. Unlike some other providers, T-Mobile does not send technicians with the equipment. The service is designed for confident users who prefer quick results. T-Mobile offers a 15-day window to try the service risk-free. According to tests, the internet speeds range from 87 to 318 Mbps for downloads, depending on location. Overall, this new delivery option makes setting up home internet more accessible and convenient.
