Instagram and Spotify have teamed up to enhance music sharing on social media. The integration offers two exciting new features for users.
First, when you share a Spotify track to your Instagram Stories, a short snippet of the song plays automatically. Viewers can easily access the full track by tapping the music sticker on your post. This feature allows Spotify’s nearly 700 million users to showcase their favorite music effortlessly.
Next, Instagram Notes lets you share what you’re currently listening to with friends. Simply tap the music note symbol when creating a note. Then, select “Share from Spotify.” This feature updates automatically, showing the song you are playing. If you don’t play anything within 30 minutes, the note switches to the next track. Your friends can then tap to add the song directly to their Spotify likes.
Furthermore, sharing via the Spotify app is now simpler. A new Notes icon appears next to Instagram sharing options when you choose a song. This streamlines the process, making it even easier to share music.
