Juniper Networks Launches EX4000 Series to Transform Wired and Wireless Access

Sunnyvale, CA — Juniper Networks has unveiled its new EX4000 Series Switches, marking a significant step in sustainable, AI-native innovation for wired and wireless access. This new lineup supports companies of all sizes in scaling IT operations and enhancing digital transformation initiatives.

The EX4000 switches feature an AI- and cloud-native architecture. Consequently, they enable fast deployment and uninterrupted connectivity. They provide enhanced security with Zero Trust principles and reduce operational costs. Notably, organizations can now migrate seamlessly to Wi-Fi 7 technology.

Moreover, these switches offer various form factors at competitive prices, including noiseless models. This variety allows more locations, such as schools and clinics, to leverage AI networking benefits. Companies report up to 85% lower operating expenses and 90% fewer network trouble tickets due to these innovations.

The EX4000 line includes Zero-Touch Provisioning (ZTP) for quick configuration. Therefore, IT staff can deploy hundreds of switches with minimal errors. Additionally, the Mist AI mobile app streamlines installation, allowing users to activate switches quickly using their mobile devices.

Furthermore, the switches maximize uptime with Perpetual Power over Ethernet (PPoE). They deliver reliable power to vital devices and have speedy boot times, facilitating rapid recovery from outages. Additionally, Juniper’s cloud services support frequent feature rollouts without service interruptions.

Cost-effectiveness is a key feature of the EX4000 switch line. With multigigabit connectivity options, organizations can easily upgrade to Wi-Fi 7 without costly rewiring. This adaptability suits high-density environments, making it an ideal fit for many sectors.

Importantly, Juniper’s EX4000 integrates Zero Trust security, ensuring safe access for all devices connected to the network. This automation simplifies the implementation of security protocols across multiple locations.

Energy efficiency also stands out, as the EX4000 series incorporates features that help organizations meet global sustainability goals. Intelligent fan adjustments and automatic power deactivation optimize energy use without sacrificing performance.

"Powered by its AI-Native Networking Platform, the EX4000 line represents a significant upgrade to our switching family," said Brandon Butler, IDC Senior Research Manager. He highlighted the seamless integration capabilities with Wi-Fi 7 advancements.

With its cutting-edge features and commitment to sustainability, Juniper Networks continues to lead the way in AI-native networking. For more information, visit IoT Now or comment on Twitter at @IoTNow_.
