    Top Highlights

    1. Native Qi2 Support: Google’s Pixel 10 is rumored to support wireless Qi2 charging natively, making it the first Pixel model to do so without needing a case.

    2. Evan Blass Leak: A leaked image shows a Qi2 charger attaching directly to the back of a Pixel 10, indicating it has the necessary embedded magnets for fast-charging support.

    3. Competitive Edge: If confirmed, the Pixel 10’s native Qi2 support will set it apart from competitors like Galaxy S25 and OnePlus, which require cases for similar functionality.

    4. Upcoming Announcement: Google is expected to formally announce the Pixel 10 lineup, along with other products, at the Made by Google event on August 20.

Google’s Pixel 10 May Feature Native Qi2 Charging

Excitement builds as Google’s upcoming Pixel 10 might support native Qi2 wireless charging. Images recently leaked by a prominent source show a Qi2 charger connected to a bare Pixel 10. This development suggests the inclusion of embedded magnets, a key requirement for Qi2 compatibility.

Currently, only recent iPhone models and a few Android devices, like the HMD Skyline, feature magnets for this technology. While other brands, such as Samsung and OnePlus, offer "Qi2 ready" options, users must buy additional cases for magnetic alignment. The Pixel 10’s potential native support would set it apart in a competitive market.

Moreover, Qi2 delivers faster charging speeds, potentially reaching 15 watts or more. This means users could enjoy quick and efficient charging without hassle. If Google launches Qi2 accessories alongside the Pixel 10, it would significantly enhance the ecosystem.

In addition to Qi2, the Pixel 10 promises impressive features, including a 6.8-inch Super Actua display and the Google Tensor G5 chip. Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the triple rear camera system and the capability for 8K video recording. Rumors also suggest a remarkable battery life of up to 100 hours for the Pro XL model.

Google is anticipated to unveil the Pixel 10 lineup, including various models and accessories, at its Made by Google event on August 20. The addition of Qi2 charging could mark a turning point for the Pixel series, blending technology and convenience seamlessly.
