    Essential Insights

    1. Update Rollout: Samsung has expanded the July 2025 Android security patch to the Galaxy A04, A56, and Z Flip6 models.

    2. Model Specifics: The Galaxy A04 (SM-A045F) update is available in Southeast Asia, while the A56 (SM-A566B) has its own firmware version for rollout.

    3. Z Flip6 Limitation: The Galaxy Z Flip6’s July update (SM-F741N) is currently only available for the South Korean model.

    4. Manual Check: Users can manually check for updates via Settings > Software update if they haven’t received the patch yet.

Samsung has expanded its July 2025 Android security patch rollout to include the Galaxy A04, Galaxy A56, and Galaxy Z Flip6. Recently, the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S24 series received the same update, reinforcing Samsung’s commitment to user security.

The update for the Galaxy A04 (SM-A045F) bears firmware version A045FXXSBEYF5. Currently, it is available in the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, and Malaysia. This rollout ensures users benefit from enhanced security measures.

Next, the Galaxy A56 (SM-A566B) also receives the July patch, labeled A566BXXS5AYFB. This update addresses potential vulnerabilities, ensuring a safer experience for users.

The Galaxy Z Flip6, however, only sees the security patch for its South Korean model (SM-F741N). The firmware version for this update is F741NKSS2BYFC. Users outside South Korea may need to wait longer for this important upgrade.

If you own one of these smartphones but have not yet received the update, check for it by navigating to Settings > Software update.

These updates illustrate Samsung’s proactive approach to security, enabling a safer mobile experience for users across its devices. With ongoing improvements, the tech giant emphasizes the importance of digital safety in today’s globally connected world.
