    Top Highlights

    1. Launch of GSMA SGP.32 Support: floLIVE has initiated operational support for GSMA SGP.32 across its global IoT infrastructure through a partnership with Kigen, enhancing IoT connectivity solutions for enterprises, IoT Service Providers, and Mobile Network Operators.

    2. Hybrid Deployment Models: The collaboration enables support for hybrid deployment models, combining SGP.32 compliance with multi-IMSI connectivity, allowing businesses to optimize remote provisioning and connectivity management.

    3. Seamless Integration and Fast Activation: Utilizing Kigen’s factory profile provisioning, floLIVE can deliver pre-configured eUICCs that ensure devices connect immediately and can download local profiles without complex setups, promising an efficient “factory-to-field” experience.

    4. Anticipated SGP.32 Adoption: Broad adoption of SGP.32 is expected to grow throughout 2026, offering enterprises reduced lock-in, future-proofing, and the ability for MNOs to create new services, although challenges in network complexity and integration remain.

floLIVE Expands IoT Capabilities with SGP.32 eSIM Support

floLIVE, a leader in IoT connectivity, has announced full operational support for the GSMA SGP.32 eSIM standard. This development stems from floLIVE’s collaboration with Kigen, a major player in eSIM technology. With this new support, floLIVE can meet a range of customer needs. Specifically, it combines SGP.32 compliance with hybrid deployment models. This flexibility allows for unique connectivity options that cater to enterprises, IoT Service Providers, and Mobile Network Operators.

Nadav Doron, vice president of product management at floLIVE, highlighted the initiative’s importance. He stated, “Delivering immediate access to SGP.32 capabilities… allows us to support a broad range of deployment demands.” Businesses can now enjoy benefits like remote provisioning, which streamlines connectivity management. The partnership with Kigen enhances security while customizing options for international clients.

    Implications for Future IoT Implementations

The integration of Kigen’s eSIM IoT Remote Manager promises a seamless user experience. By utilizing In-Factory Profile Provisioning, floLIVE can deliver eUICCs ready to activate globally. This process significantly reduces setup complexities, paving the way for a “factory-to-field” connection approach. Jean-Louis Carrara from Kigen emphasizes the importance of SGP.32, noting its capability to ensure scalable and secure IoT deployments.

Broader adoption of the SGP.32 standard is anticipated by 2026. Early implementations aim to assess operational impacts before transitioning to large-scale rollouts. Key benefits include reduced vendor lock-in and lower risks for enterprises, along with new opportunities for Mobile Network Operators.

While SGP.32 simplifies many challenges, Doron also cautioned that complexities in network management persist. He advocated for floLIVE’s CMP Aggregator, which provides comprehensive monitoring and deployment solutions. This robust platform optimizes connectivity and helps businesses achieve their operational goals.

Join floLIVE and Kigen on February 24th for the first #FutureofSIM webinar of 2026, where experts will delve into the realities of operational readiness for IoT at scale.
