    Quick Takeaways

    TL;DR

    1. Delistings Announced: Binance will remove ANIME/FDUSD, HYPER/FDUSD, and STO/BNB trading pairs on August 15 due to liquidity concerns.

    2. Promising Price Movements: Despite the delisting, ANIME’s price rose by 16%, while HYPER and STO also showed gains, benefiting from a broader altcoin market resurgence.

    3. New Contracts Launched: Binance introduced AIO/USDT and XNY/USDT perpetual contracts with 50x leverage, enhancing trading options for users.

    4. Ongoing Promotions: A zero-fee trading promotion is in effect for select trading pairs from August 12 to October 11, aimed at boosting trading activity among VIP users.

Binance Removes Three Trading Pairs, But Launches New Contracts
    August 15, 2023

Binance announced it will remove three spot trading pairs effective August 15. The pairs include ANIME/FDUSD, HYPER/FDUSD, and STO/BNB. The exchange regularly reviews its offerings, opting to delist pairs due to low liquidity and trading volume.

Users should take action. Binance recommends that traders update or cancel their Spot Trading Bots before the removal date to avoid potential losses. Importantly, the delisting does not remove the underlying tokens from the platform. Clients can still trade the assets in other available pairs.

Surprisingly, the affected cryptocurrencies reacted positively. ANIME surged by 16%, while HYPER and STO saw smaller daily gains. This interest aligns with the recent uptick in many popular altcoins. Ethereum (ETH) rose 8% and trades above $4,700, while Solana (SOL) increased by 15%, surpassing $200.

Additionally, Binance recently launched AIO/USDT and XNY/USDT perpetual contracts with leverage up to 50x. These new products allow traders to speculate on prices without owning the assets. AIO saw significant gains, climbing nearly 50% after the announcement. In contrast, XNY dipped by 20%, currently trading at about $0.015.

Earlier this month, Binance also initiated a zero-fee trading promotion for specific user tiers, enhancing trading conditions for several pairs. As trading environments evolve, Binance continues to adapt by adding innovative products while streamlining its offerings.
