    2. News Conference: The crew, including NASA astronauts Zena Cardman and Mike Fincke, will hold a news conference on January 21 at 2:15 p.m. EST to discuss their mission and answer questions.

    3. Scientific Contributions: During their mission, the crew conducted hundreds of science experiments and technology demonstrations, contributing to ongoing research essential for future lunar and Martian exploration.

    4. Commercial Crew Program Success: NASA’s collaboration with private industry has successfully provided safe and reliable transportation to the ISS, enhancing access to low Earth orbit for research and commercial opportunities.

NASA’s SpaceX Crew-11 mission recently marked an impressive milestone. After 167 days in space, the crew will hold a news conference at 2:15 p.m. EST on Wednesday, Jan. 21, at the Johnson Space Center in Houston. During this event, astronauts from NASA, JAXA, and Roscosmos will discuss their scientific expedition aboard the International Space Station (ISS).

The astronauts returned to Earth on Jan. 15, splashing down near San Diego. After arriving in Houston, they will undergo routine postflight evaluations. Many science experiments took place during their time in space. They completed over 2,670 orbits of Earth while traveling nearly 71 million miles.

NASA will provide live coverage of the news conference on its YouTube channel. Media may attend in person or virtually. For those attending in person, it’s important to contact the Johnson newsroom by 5 p.m. CST on Jan. 20. Virtual participants can submit questions via social media using the hashtag #AskNASA.

Meanwhile, NASA’s Commercial Crew Program continues to play a vital role. This initiative delivers safe and cost-effective transportation to the ISS, expanding access to low Earth orbit. As a result, more people can participate in scientific research and exploration. For over 25 years, the ISS has been a hub for advancing technology and scientific knowledge.

The work conducted aboard the ISS enhances technology development, paving the way for future missions to the Moon and Mars. For more updates, follow NASA on Instagram, Facebook, and X.
