One UI 7 Starts Arriving Early for Galaxy S22 Series and More

Samsung has begun rolling out the One UI 7 update for several devices, including the Galaxy S22 series, Z Fold 4, Z Flip 4, and Galaxy S23 FE. This rollout starts in South Korea, signaling an exciting development for Galaxy users.

Although the update’s progress has been slow, Samsung recently increased its pace. Last week, the company released One UI 7 for the Galaxy S23 and Tab S10 in the U.S. Now, users can enjoy the latest features on six additional models.

Notably, this update includes the April 2025 security patch, enhancing device security. Initial firmware versions are available: S711NKSU5CYDA for the Galaxy S23 FE, while Z Fold 4 and Flip 4 carry versions ending in HYD9. The S22 series has a build version of FYD9.

The global launch, while not yet active in the U.S., is anticipated soon. Users should remain optimistic, as eligibility for the update expands. Given that Android 16 is on the horizon, many hope Samsung will expedite future rollouts.

As urban connectivity continues to evolve, updates like these improve user experiences. Enhanced features foster engagement, opening doors to smart city innovations and sustainable urban living. Samsung’s commitment to timely updates reflects a dedication to keeping users connected and secure.
