    Essential Insights

NASA’s MAX POWER expo runs November 6–8 near Kennedy Space Center.
Visitors can explore aircraft, autonomous technology, spacecraft, Moon rovers, and NASA’s X-59.
Highlights include Artemis III and Crew-12 astronauts, flyovers, and expert presentations.
NASA’s Saturday briefing updates plans for a lunar South Pole base.

NASA Releases MAX POWER Key Events for Media, Participants

NASA has published a schedule of key events for MAX POWER, a new aerospace expo and air show taking place Nov. 6-8 on and near Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The weekend will bring together aircraft, space technologies and the people developing them, with activities for media and the public.

NASA plans to display its X-59 quiet supersonic research aircraft. Agency partners will present Moon rovers, spacecraft and other technologies. The event also caps NASA’s recent Inspiration Tour, which included flyovers featuring the agency’s aircraft.

MAX POWER offers a close look at work shaping future air and space exploration. But a public display is not a guarantee that a technology is ready for routine use. Visitors can see what teams are developing, learn about its intended purpose and meet the specialists working through the technical challenges.

The public events are family-friendly. Gates open at 9 a.m. EST on Nov. 7 and Nov. 8. NASA says visitors can meet agency leaders, astronauts, engineers, scientists and other experts. The schedule may change, so check NASA’s MAX POWER page for current details.
