    Quick Takeaways

    TL;DR

    1. The AYANEO Pocket S Mini is now available for order, in stock, and ready to ship, avoiding prior crowdfunding delays.
    2. It features a 4.2-inch LCD, robust Snapdragon G3x Gen 2 chipset, and starts at $319 for February, with a complimentary gift pack.
    3. The device showcases an all-metal design and comes in three variants (8+128GB, 12+256GB, 16+512GB), with early-bird discounts ending soon.
    4. AYANEO aims to rebuild trust after shipping issues by launching without crowdfunding, offering simultaneous releases in China and overseas.

AYANEO Pocket S Mini Launches Without Crowdfunding

AYANEO has made a bold move by bypassing crowdfunding for its new Pocket S Mini. Starting today, gamers can order this compact handheld, which is ready to ship immediately. This shift comes as a relief, especially after the company faced delays with previous crowdfunding campaigns.

The Pocket S Mini features a premium 4.2-inch screen and a robust Snapdragon G3x Gen 2 chipset. These specs promise high performance for demanding Android games and retro gaming. Prices start at $319 for the 8GB model this February, a limited-time offer before prices rise by $80 later. Early buyers will receive a free gift pack, enhancing the appeal of this device.

AYANEO’s decision marks a significant departure from its past. Previously, the company dealt with extensive criticism over late shipments. To regain trust, AYANEO’s CEO introduced a “Service Improvement Plan,” which includes avoiding crowdfunding altogether.

The Pocket S Mini stands out in a competitive market. It joins options like the Pocket ACE and ANBERNIC devices but offers superior processing power. Additionally, it is the first AYANEO device launching simultaneously in China and international markets.

Orders placed by February 10 will ship before the Chinese New Year, while subsequent orders will resume after February 26. Consumers can buy the Pocket S Mini directly from AYANEO’s official website.

This launch not only reflects AYANEO’s commitment to improvement but also introduces a strong contender in the handheld gaming space.
