    Top Highlights

    1. Smart Cleanup Suggestions: Google Photos is set to introduce a feature that suggests photos to delete after users remove multiple pictures, enhancing storage management.

    2. Manual Deletion Trigger: The suggestions will appear only after users have manually selected and deleted several photos, fostering an intuitive cleanup experience.

    3. User Control: Users can review the suggested deletions before confirming and have the option to disable this feature if they prefer not to receive suggestions.

    4. Upcoming Rollout: This feature is currently in development and may be included in future updates of the Google Photos app, with no specific release date announced yet.

Google Photos Could Soon Suggest Unwanted Photos for Deletion

Google Photos is gearing up to enhance its user experience with a new feature. This feature could soon suggest photos users may want to delete, aiming to help manage storage more effectively.

According to recent findings from an APK teardown, the app will present suggestions after users delete multiple photos. This proactive approach makes cleaning up digital libraries easier than ever.

Currently, Google Photos allows users to manage storage through the "Manage storage" option. It lists large files, blurry images, and screenshots for easy selection and deletion. However, the upcoming suggestions could take this convenience a step further.

When rolling out, the feature will notify users with a pop-up message, inviting them to "Try a new deleting experience" after they select and delete several photos. Users will then see recommendations, asking them to "Clean up your library." Importantly, the system will allow users to review each suggestion before any final action.

Safety and choice remain priorities. Google plans to include a setting where users can turn off the suggestions entirely if they find them unhelpful. This flexibility keeps the user experience personalized.

While there’s no official timeline for when this feature will be available, it demonstrates Google’s commitment to improving user interaction. The goal is clear: to make photo management simpler while enhancing overall functionality. As tech developments unfold, users can expect more streamlined experiences in the future.
