    Fast Facts

    1. The Realme 17 Pro is reportedly set to feature a 1.5K, 120Hz AMOLED display and Dimensity 7300 chipset.
    2. Its cameras may include a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide, and a selfie camera with 4K/30fps recording.
    3. The phone is tipped to pack a 10,000mAh battery, IP68/IP69 protection, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and Android 17-based ColorOS 17.
    4. The earlier leak’s Dimensity 7500 and 200MP camera may belong to the higher-end Realme 17 Pro+ or Pro Max.

New Realme 17 Pro spec leak helps clarify its place in the upcoming lineup

Realme’s next Pro-series leak offers a clearer view of how the company may separate its upcoming phones. A new report assigns a more modest set of rumored specs to the Realme 17 Pro. That makes an earlier, more ambitious leak look more like details for a Pro+ or Pro Max model.

The distinction matters. Buyers often expect a Pro phone to balance price and features, while a higher-tier model may push harder on cameras and performance. Realme has not confirmed these specifications, so treat them as early details rather than final commitments.

The Realme 17 Pro may focus on a strong everyday mix

The latest report says the Realme 17 Pro will use a 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. That combination could deliver sharp images and smooth scrolling without chasing the highest refresh rates on the market. It should suit everyday tasks, from browsing to video playback.

A MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chip may power the phone. The report also lists a 50-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera. Those numbers suggest a familiar, practical camera setup rather than a system built around long-range zoom.

The selfie camera could record 4K video at 30 frames per second. However, its resolution remains unclear. It may offer either 32 megapixels or 50 megapixels, according to the report.

The rumored 10,000-mAh battery stands out. If Realme includes that capacity, the phone could appeal to people who spend long days away from a charger. Still, battery size alone cannot confirm real-world endurance. Screen use, software and network conditions all affect how long a phone lasts.

The report also points to an in-display fingerprint reader and IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance ratings. Those ratings would add useful protection, though they do not make a phone indestructible. It may run ColorOS 17 based on Android 17, another detail that Realme has yet to confirm.

The earlier leak points toward a higher-tier sibling

Last month, another leak described a Realme 17-series phone with a Dimensity 7500 chip and a 200-megapixel main camera. It also mentioned a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom, plus an ultrawide camera.

That phone reportedly had a flat 1.5K OLED display. The screen could run at 120Hz during normal use and reach 165Hz in some games. The leak also listed a plastic frame, a camera module resembling the Realme 16 Pro+ and the same 10,000-mAh battery.

At the time, the phone’s identity remained uncertain. The tipster later suggested that it could be the Pro+ or Pro Max. Now, the contrast between those details and the reported 17 Pro specs makes that interpretation seem more plausible.

The two leaks describe distinct roles. The standard Pro may emphasize a large battery, a capable display and a straightforward camera system. A higher-end sibling could offer more camera flexibility and faster gaming refresh rates. That would give buyers a clearer choice, if Realme follows through.

A clearer lineup, with important questions still open

The rumored differences could help Realme create a more understandable range. A 50-megapixel main camera may meet everyday needs, while a dedicated telephoto lens could give a premium model more reach. Likewise, a 120Hz display already promises smooth motion; a 165Hz mode may matter most to players who notice small changes in responsiveness.

However, leaks cannot establish final prices, availability or performance. The reported battery capacity also leaves questions about the phone’s size and weight. And although the selfie camera may record 4K video, its resolution remains unsettled.

For now, the Realme 17 Pro looks like a potential value-focused option within a more ambitious family. The earlier leak, meanwhile, gives the possible Pro+ or Pro Max a stronger camera profile. Realme’s official announcement will determine whether those distinctions hold—and whether the lineup delivers a meaningful choice rather than just a longer spec sheet.
