This steep price difference makes BYD’s offering roughly one-fifth the cost of Tesla’s. Clearly, BYD’s strategy aims to make advanced technology more accessible to everyday consumers.

    In the U.S., Tesla continues to change its pricing model. The company has moved its Full Self-Driving option to a subscription-only model, charged at $99 per month. This shift contrasts sharply with BYD’s straightforward purchase model, which adds compelling value for consumers wary of ongoing subscription fees.
