    Top Highlights

    1. Apple is set to introduce its Visual Intelligence feature, similar to Google Lens, on the iPhone 15 Pro, as confirmed by Daring Fireball’s John Gruber.

    2. The feature was originally launched with the iPhone 16 lineup, with expectations of its availability on the iPhone 15 Pro via an upcoming iOS update, possibly iOS 18.4 in April.

    3. Visual Intelligence allows users to access the feature through the Action Button, which is also available on the iPhone 15 Pro.

    4. Users will have the option to launch Visual Intelligence from both the Action Button and the Control Center on the iPhone 15 Pro.

Apple is set to enhance the iPhone 15 Pro with its innovative Visual Intelligence feature. This capability, reminiscent of Google Lens, brings exciting possibilities for users. According to John Gruber of Daring Fireball, the feature might debut with the upcoming iOS 18.4 update in April.

Initially, Apple introduced Visual Intelligence during the iPhone 16 launch in September. They showcased it as accessible through the Camera Control button. However, they recently confirmed that the feature will also work on the iPhone 16E, which lacks this button. Instead, users will find it via the Action Button. This development hints at a wider rollout, including the iPhone 15 Pro, which also features an Action Button.

With Visual Intelligence, users can easily identify objects, translate text, and access information about the world around them. This tool promises to make everyday tasks more straightforward and efficient. Additionally, users can launch it directly from the Control Center, ensuring quick and simple access.

Apple’s move reflects a growing trend in mobile technology. As smartphones become more integrated into our lives, features like Visual Intelligence can enhance our experiences and interactions. By prioritizing user-friendly design, Apple continues to set itself apart in the competitive tech landscape. The introduction of Visual Intelligence on the iPhone 15 Pro not only strengthens its appeal but also showcases Apple’s commitment to innovation. This upcoming feature may very well redefine how users engage with their devices and their surroundings.
