    Quick Takeaways

    1. Bose’s second-gen QuietComfort headphones feature improved ANC and comfort.
    2. New immersive audio modes allow dynamic sound positioning with head tracking.
    3. Upgraded noise canceling adapts better to sudden environmental changes.
    4. Additional features include Bluetooth 5.4, USB-C, and 24-hour battery life.

Enhanced Audio Experience with Head-Tracking Technology

Bose has introduced a second-generation version of its QuietComfort headphones, adding advanced head-tracking immersive audio. The new headphones keep their reputation for excellent noise cancellation and comfort. They now include Bose’s TrueSpatial technology, which creates a more realistic sound environment. This feature makes audio seem like it’s coming from fixed points in a room. Using side-to-side head movement, the headphones can track your head and adjust sound accordingly. You can choose a mode where the sound remains fixed, or one that moves with you. There is also a “theater-like” mode that makes speech clearer while watching videos or listening to podcasts. This upgrade offers more engaging audio, especially for home entertainment and virtual meetings. The innovation makes Bose’s QuietComfort a versatile choice for users who want immersive sound in various situations.

Practical Improvements and Features Worth Noting

Bose has made several practical upgrades with this new model. The headphones now have a more comfortable headband that is easier to adjust. The active noise cancellation (ANC) has improved with a new Aware mode. This mode adjusts noise cancellation more naturally based on your environment. With six microphones, the headphones better seal around the ears, making ANC more effective for those wearing glasses. The headphones support Bluetooth 5.4 and allow multipoint pairing, helping you switch between devices seamlessly. You can now connect via USB-C for lossless audio. Button placement has been optimized for easier control. Battery life remains strong at up to 24 hours, with fast charging giving 2.5 hours of use in just 15 minutes. The revamped QuietComfort headphones cost $359, a slight increase from the original price. Available in multiple colors, they are now ready for preorder, with shipping starting in mid-August. Whether users seek better sound immersion or improved everyday functionality, Bose’s upgrade steps up the value of its entry-level flagship.
