Simogo, the indie studio known for its unique games, marks its 15th anniversary with exciting news. The developer is releasing the Simogo Legacy Collection, which will bring classic titles like Year Walk and Device 6 to Steam and Nintendo consoles. This collection includes all seven mobile games released between 2010 and 2015.

Available December 2, the collection costs $15. This date also celebrates the launch of Simogo’s first game, Kosmo Spin. Co-founder Simon Flesser emphasized the importance of preserving these games. He noted that mobile titles face a risk of becoming unplayable over time. While Year Walk previously had a port for the Wii U, that console’s fate underscored the need for better preservation.

The Simogo Legacy Collection aims to keep the original experience intact. Developers made minimal changes, ensuring the games retain their original feel while functioning on new platforms. Players can use touchscreen controls on the Switch and Switch 2, replicating how they were initially designed. Additionally, the collection supports mice and controllers, even incorporating motion controls for a more dynamic experience.

But there’s more. The bundle includes extras like an eBook of Year Walk side stories and a podcast for The Sailor’s Dream. Fans will also find playable prototypes and additional music, enhancing the overall package.

Looking ahead, Simogo plans to release updated versions of Lorelei and the Laser Eyes and Sayonara Wild Hearts for the Switch 2 by early 2026. Meanwhile, they will reintroduce Sayonara Wild Hearts on iOS as a paid app next year. Originally a launch title for Apple Arcade in 2019, the game will return to mobile platforms, allowing players to enjoy it on the go.

Furthermore, Simogo collaborates with Lost in Cult on a coffee table book chronicling their history. Heartbeats, Dreams and Laser Eyes: 15 Years of Simogo will feature around 250 pages of content. A deluxe edition includes special items like a bookmark and a signed bookplate for the first 300 fans who pre-order. Pre-orders begin today, with shipping expected in late 2026.
