During a livestream AMA, Hoskinson explained that the funds were used to pay for an audit in 2016 and 2017. He said the money was intended to cover costs for three independent auditors, including Michael Parsons, John McGuire, and Bruce Milligan. Hoskinson emphasized that the value of the BTC at that time was around $414 per coin, amounting to roughly $400,000. Critics, however, continue to question the transparency of this transaction.
Calls for Transparency and Ongoing Questions
Some analysts, like Thomas Braziel, remain skeptical. Braziel has demanded that Cardano’s team publish receipts, contracts, and approval records.
